How To Control IPhone Camera Using Apple Watch

Certainly you are in the position where you want to take a picture and you can not iPhone. This can happen, for example, when you place your phone on a tripod to become very professional.

If there is no one in the room to press the shutter icon, we can set the timer or use our Apple Watch to view the picture and take the picture.

Take a photo with your iPhone using Apple Watch

As we said, we can perfectly set a timer on the iPhone camera that takes a picture in seconds. The problem is, however, we cannot do good framing of the photo because we would throw it blindly.

This can be easily solved if we have an Apple Watch. This allows us to connect to the iPhone camera and see the scene as well as various shooting or video options.

To access this feature, just have Apple Watch and iPhone connected and follow these steps:

  1. Click on the digital crown on the side and click on the ‘Camera’ app.
  2. The application opens automatically on our iPhone and Apple Watch shows what the lens captures.
  3. We can click on the scene and create the focus.
  4. At the bottom we will have a normal shutter button that we have on the iPhone. We can set the timer by clicking the button labeled “3s”. To record a video, just press and hold the shutter button.

But this is not here because we can also use Apple Watch to create and change flash or HDR. Just press a few seconds on the screen of our Apple Watch.

In doing so, we will see the possibility to rotate the camera, activate HDR, flash, and deactivate “Live” mode.

For us, this integration function between the two teams is quite interesting. There’s no need to have someone in the room take a good picture for our Instagram account or make a video for our YouTube channel.

Gradually, we see how the iPhone becomes a photo device of pretty good quality, so we’re not surprised by this feature and that it will be better known by bit.
