WhatsApp business account is for you to communicate better with your customers via messages, audio or video. In addition, it is also possible to include details such as opening hours, location on the map and the company website.
However, one of the coolest functions of WhatsApp Business is the option to create a catalog of products and services with photos, especially useful for restaurants and bars that carry out tele-delivery. So let’s learn how to create and populate a product catalog on WhatsApp Business.
How to create a catalog in the WhatsApp Business Account
1 – Access Business Account Settings
To access the business account settings, just tap on the three dots in the upper right corner, go to settings and select the second option “Business Settings”.
After tapping on this option, just select the “Catalog” option to start adding new products.
2 – Add products/services
After entering the catalog option it is necessary to create a new one, if you don’t have one yet. To create one, just tap the “Add product or service” option at the bottom of the screen.
By tapping on this option a new tab will open in the application allowing you to write the name of the product / service you want to add (mandatory) as well as the price (it is not mandatory to enter the price if you don’t want to). It is also possible and recommended to add images that illustrate what you want to sell.
After adding images and product name, more options will appear for you to complete all product details with description, link (if you have a page on your website dedicated to it) and product code.
3 – Repeat process 2 to add more products
If you want to add more products to your catalog just select the “+” in the lower right corner of the screen and repeat step 2, adding photos and including more details about your product.
