In order not to bother, generally we will create different documents specifically to make the appearance of different orientations. Even though this feature is available in Microsoft Word, we rarely use it. Next, I show you how to create portrait and landscape pages in one Microsoft Word document.

Making portrait and landscape pages

  1. Select the text on the page that we want to change its orientation (the position of the paper).
  2. Open the page setup menu , by clicking Layout -> then clicking the page setup icon in the right corner.
  3. On the page setup menu, select the desired orientation, either portrait or landscape. In the Apply tooption , select Selected Text ( this works to apply the page settings to the selected area only, if this feature is not selected then the settings will apply to all pages ). Click OK
  4. The result

Done, it’s easy right? In this way smart friends can create portrait and landscape pages in one word document without having to create separate files again.
