Many applications offer to enjoy all their features through a subscription. Spotify, Deezer, Netflix and even Apple Music. These subscriptions are renewed monthly automatically until you decide to cancel them. In this article, we explain how to modify or cancel subscriptions in the App Store.

Edit or cancel subscriptions on the App Store

Step 1

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, go to Settings > iTunes and App Store. Tap on your Apple ID at the top and select Show Apple ID.

2nd step

You will be prompted to authenticate. Do it by your code or Touch ID.

Step 3

Once you’re on your account page, scroll down and look for the Subscriptions tab. Tap on it and then you’ll see a list of your subscriptions. Then, tap the subscription you want to cancel, and then tap Cancel subscription.

After canceling the subscription, it will be interrupted at the end of the current billing period. That is, if the subscription was to end on October 30th and you cancel on October 14th, it will still be valid until October 30th.

On your Mac or PC via iTunes

Step 1

Launch iTunes on your Mac or PC.

2nd step

In the menu bar at the top of the iTunes window, go to Account > View My Account and sign in to sign in.

Step 3

On the Account Data page, go to the Settings section and click Manage next to the Subscription section. This will display all your active and expired subscriptions.

Step 4

Click Edit on the subscription you want to end. Finally, click Cancel subscription and confirm.
