The Pwn20wnd uncover jailbreak supports iOS 11.0 to iOS 12.1.2 and most iPhone and iPad versions. The only exception is devices with the A12 (X) processor that are only partially compatible. This means that the application Cydia and Cydia Substrate can not be installed on these mobiles at the moment.

Pwn20wnd Ensures the update of Cydia Substrate by Saurik for A12 (X) devices
Cydia Substrate is a component used by various jailbreak software to protect devices from conflicts between various applications or tweaks.
For example, Cydia Substrate automatically enables safe mode as a security mechanism in case of a problem. If it works with iOS 11 and with most devices under iOS 12, a bug prevents it from working properly with devices A12 (X) under iOS 12. That’s why an update is expected from Jay Freeman, aka Saurik the developer of Cydia and Cydia Substrate.
Pwn20wnd, the main developer of the jailbreak uncover told Twitter that Saurik still actively supports Cydia Substrate and that, although he has been very busy lately, he still has plans to solve the problem … as soon as he will have time.
Indeed, it’s not really a date but it’s reassuring to know that Saurik is still there for the jailbreak community. In this spirit, it is advisable for those who expect full support of their device A12 (X) by the jailbreak uncover to wait for this update or then turn to the jailbreak Electra12.
Meanwhile, Pwn20wnd has recently begun to focus on using Substitute rather than Cydia Substrate until Saurik can release its update.
This method would mean full support for the iPhone and iPad A12 (X) but, according to Pwn20wnd, this would also introduce stability, battery, performance issues, and more.
