KeyLemon is an excellent software to simplify and secure the registration process in Windows. By installing KeyLemon, you can automatically log in to your user account without touching the keyboard and mouse. If your webcam or KeyLemon stops working, you can log in manually by entering your username and password.

Another interesting feature of this software is that it also supports multiple user accounts. If you have two or more user accounts, KeyLemon will automatically recognize your face and log you into the correct account.

To set up and use KeyLemon:

Step 1: Connect your webcam to the PC, install the drivers provided by the webcam manufacturer and make sure the camera works. If you have a notebook or a netbook with an integrated camera, simply download and install the necessary drivers.

Step 2: Visit this page, download the KeyLemon installer and run the setup file to install KeyLemon on your PC.

Step 3: The KeyLemon Assistant is displayed when it is started for the first time. The wizard will help you choose your webcam and create a face model for logging into Windows. You can also start the wizard manually by opening the KeyLemon Control Center and then clicking the Wizard button.

Step 4: Select your webcam in the wizard and position yourself in front of the camera to adjust the drawn shape. Click Next to continue.

Step 5: Here you have to take the correct position in front of the camera again. When the camera and KeyLemon recognize your face, a green button is displayed, indicating that KeyLemon has successfully recognized your face. Click the Fit Face Model button to create your face model. Wait for the progress bar to reach 100 percent.

Then click the Next button.

Step 6: This is the final step of the wizard. Here you need to enter a name for your face model and also enter your Windows user account password to add the newly created face model to Windows.

Then click the Finish button to close the wizard. You’re done! You have successfully set up KeyLemon. From now on you will see a KeyLemon thumbnail on the login screen. After recognizing your face, KeyLemon automatically logs into your account. If necessary, you can also log in with your Windows user account password.

Please note that the free version of KeyLemon contains only basic functions. The basic version of KeyLemon is free and works well. The Gold and Bronze versions of KeyLemon are also available with additional features and security.

The current version (v2.6) of KeyLemon officially supports both the x86 and x64 versions of the operating systems Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7. To install it under Windows 8, you have to run the installation program in compatibility mode.

To do this, right-click the installer> Properties> Compatibility, and then select Run this program in Windows Vista compatibility mode. Click the Apply button and then double-click the setup file to start the installation.

Note that you can also use KeyLemon to log in to Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn through your face. We will report more about this feature shortly.
