Sometimes the number of emails we receive is so out of control that it’s hard to manage them all. And when you add spam, the situation is even worse. You can certainly move unwanted emails to the trash, but that does not stop them from continuing to send you emails.
With an update of the Mail application in iOS 13, you can better control these unwanted emails. Yes, it’s finally here; a way to prevent people from sending you an email in the Mail app. Here’s how easy it is to do.
Block a sender in Apple Mail
If you want to block a sender in Apple Mail, keep in mind that this action is synced to all your devices (yay!) And automatically moves messages from that sender to the Recycle Bin.
1) Open the Mail app and select an email from the person you want to block.
2) Type in the e-mail header and press to select the sender.
3) Choose Block this contact.
4) Confirm the action by tapping Block this contact one more time.
Now you do not have to worry about wasting time getting rid of that person’s emails. And if you have a new breath on the road, you can follow these same steps and select Unblock this contact .
To wrap up
This seems to be such a simple function to have and has been waiting for a long time. But at least we can now stop people from emailing us and getting through these important messages.
