How to configure a VPN network?
There are two ways to connect to a VPN network:through a third-party application or through native Android-built native support for some networks. We talked about the two processes below.
1. How to configure VPN through an application
Depending on the VPN network you want to use, adedicated app is the best option. Android does not offer support for open networks on VPN servers, so to use services that are not available in your region (e.g. blocking WhatsApp, for example), an application is an ideal solution.

2. How to manually configure VPN via native Android support
Android smartphones offer built-in support for configuringPPTP and L2TP VPN networks. It is useful for you to have access to private networks in environments such as work, home, and so on. Just go to the “Settings” menu and then “More” (names may vary depending on the user interface). In this section, you will see a window called VPN. Click here.
Afterward, the notification ” Add VPN” or simply the “plus” mark appears in the top bar, which you need to click. If you do this, you will be asked for the following information: ”name“, ”Type” and ”Server addressSee below what each one contains.
Note:The VPN settings used in this instruction are only used to describe the process. So, before setting up a VPN, you need to have VPN network configuration data. The VPNBook website, for example, offers such data, however, it may track your network behavior (this is just one example).
