What does that sound better than? Well, itis something thatyou can configure to your liking and in such a simple way that it even seems a lie. You just have to follow the following steps and you can enjoy great benefits.
STEP 1 – Create the filters for Gmail
To begin, you must locate the email search engine, more precisely, the arrow on its right side. Once located, you must activate it so that a menu with sections to fill in is displayed for you. This will be the first step in creating filters for Gmail.
STEP 2 – Complete the information
Fill in each section of the boxwith all the necessary information so that the filters in Gmail can classify the messages by various senders. Not only with the email address where the messages come from, but those that connect with you or someone else.
You should not forget to place the words that you are sure are a great reference for the filter to take them into consideration. For example, if you enter “Market”, all emails with that word will be linked to the label where you assign the automatic selection.
You can also indicate a period of time, as well as a size per estimate per message. In this way, you can create folders in Gmail that can be easily consulted from your mobile, be it Android or iOS. After this, you must press ”Create Filter“.
STEP 3 – Put the filter on the label
Once you have an email with filters and labels created, you just have to select where each thing will be positioned. In this case, you must search in your Gmail where the emails are going to be moved, that is, to which folders you have made.
To achieve this, you will be shown a box with many options. You should look for the one that says ”Apply the label” and select from your catalog the one that is ideal for your newly made configuration.
At this point, we will only have to select ”Create Filter” once again. And, as a result, creating the folders in Gmail will have been worth the time invested, now having automatic content reception.
Remove labels from email
Of course, if you no longer have a need to maintain a tag (or if you created one by accident), you are fully capable of removing it. This has no loss and is that, in fact, you can select this option within the same creation process indicated above.
In this case, you just have to click on the menu symbol shaped like three dots on the respective label, displaying its different options. Among them, you can find in the last part the section ”Remove tag“. Once selected, you are done.
Create folders in my Gmail account from a mobile phone
Certainly, creating Gmail folders on every mobile phone is not possible. Specifically in those that have the Android system as the main support, although they can manage the operation of the labels from their Gmail account.
On the other hand, the iOS platform does leave you such freedoms, which we will describe in detail below.
IOS System (Create and Manage)
Once we have access to the Gmail application on our iOS device, we must start it in order to reach the different management options. With these at our fingertips, we must choose the option ”Create label” in the left sidebar.
Up to this point, there doesn’t seem to be much different from labeling email using a different device. Except for the fact of certain limitations, for example, the impossibility of creating “sub-labels” from an iPhone or iPad.
Also, the linking process to make Gmail labels automatic is more streamlined. Here, assigning a type of message to one of the folders created only consists of registering the sender and that’s it. It is very simple.
Android System (Manage)
From the Android platforms we will not be able to create labels, butwe can use the existing ones to select how to organize the email in folders. For example, selecting an email to alternate between different spaces.
This can be done easily by selecting the ”Change label” option once you select the message. You can locate this section in the three points that symbolize the configuration, in the respective label located in the left panel of the inbox.
