Following its footsteps in 2019 – bringing support to make it easier for users to share songs on Instagram Stories, Spotify now brings similar support to the Facebook Stories service.
By using this new support for Facebook Stories, you who have a list of favorite songs on this music streaming service can easily recommend your songs to more people.
You can share these songs in an upload in the form of song clips, complete with cover images, titles and singers, for 15 seconds.
Not only that, an additional button will appear that says Play on Spotify in the upload, making it easier for people on Facebook to find the song.
To be able to use it, of course you need these two applications (i.e. Spotify and Facebook which can be downloaded for free at the app store). In addition, you also need to log in at each service.
If so, to share songs on Facebook Stories, you only need to play your favorite songs you want to share on Spotify, then open the song playback page in full.
If you don’t know how to open it, you can do this by tapping on the title of the song currently being played, which is usually located at the bottom of the page.
On the song playback page, then tap the share icon located in the lower right corner of the page, then after that select Facebook from the various sharing options that appear.
You can then edit the upload before sharing. In this case, you can add stickers, text, or other items, just like when uploading ordinary Facebook Stories.
When you have finished editing it, you can press the Your Story button. Or if you want to share it with additional preferences, you can choose the Share to option and choose the options you want.
Automatically, a snippet of your favorite song will appear in the Stories list in your Facebook account. You can then manage it like uploading Facebook Stories in general.
