If you’ve ever used the Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge browser, you may know of the “Caret Browsing” feature. With Caret Browsing, you can copy texts, browse web pages without touching your computer mouse. Once added, users can use the up and down navigation keys to move the cursor across web pages. To select texts, users must use the Shift button and the navigation keys. The ultimate goal of Mask Navigation is to make things convenient for people who don’t want to use a mouse.
